In an effort to continuously learn and grow as a financial literacy advocate and blogger, I recently joined the International Marketing Group (IMG), a financial distribution and membership platform company, the first of its kind in the financial industry. If you’re a bit confused, don’t worry. To be perfectly candid, I didn’t understand what it was and how it works when I first read about IMG some years ago, thus it took me a long time jump aboard.

But what’s remarkable about IMG is that the company doesn’t simply act as an agent whose goal is to aggressively sell multiple numbers of financial products. IMG combines its membership platform with a holistic approach to personal finance and an effective financial literacy education program, in line with their core belief that in order to build the wealth of the nation, no family is left behind.
